(ID in ALT text) its been a while since i posted some outfit doodles. not like these are new. they are from last year. but i never know where and how to upload these so here we go. at least the third ones pose is a bit funny hahah.

I thought it was overall okay, can obviously not compare to the first, brought up good points but didn't fully deliver, but was fun enough. I respected its anti-ai message.

if we take the movie for what it is, my biggest problem was with its ending. Not only did it feel weirdly paced and kind of blah, but I think it was SO CLOSE to actually being really good. So these are the tweaks I would have made.

When Miranda goes to talk to Benji, he admits that he thinks the future of Runway is AI and that eventually there will be no models, designers, etc. Emily hears this and gets teary.

Now, Emily is a fun character, but she is not a nice character. She is fun to the audience but in world, she did the bare minimum for Andy and isn't really even a decent person. However, the one thing about her that's established is that she Worships Runway and cares about fashion.

Emily should have stood up to Benji against his stance for what the magazine should be. This is her redemption. A true way to redeem a character who worships the magazine above all while still being in character as a pretty self-centered person.

Then, Miranda should have taught Emily how to become a visionary. Miranda at several points is shown to be older and actually contemplates retirement. She isn't quite ready, but she has a life outside of the magazine waiting for her. And yet, how will the magazine fare without her? She has no one to take over except for Nigel, but she hasn't even taught him how to do her part of the job (and he lacks confidence and Emily's cutthroat drive), and honestly, he's on the older side too. She should have taken Emily under her wing as a person who understood her, who acted like Miranda did, and it could have made up for how she neglected her assistants and dismissed them. And then she could have joked that Emily's such a hopeless case that it would take Miranda "4-5 years" to get Emily ready for the job (Or she trains her for Nigel's job so that once Nigel is promoted, Emily is on track). Then, she could have had growth and moved on, instead of her ending the movie with everyone still catering to her with no plan for the magazine without her.

That's bad enough!!!!!!!! But the entire idea of needing permission from state authorities to access anything labeled mature by our friendly AI overlords is some fucking Boll shit. Die Gedenken Sind Frie baby. This is all a reaction to people getting uppity about their lowly lowly rights and is being propped up by the same bad actors tht have made life unlivable. Fuck that shit.

YOu know it's always really funny when these tech giants (Or whatever you call owning tumblr dot com) get really antsy about laws considering they pick and choose which ones they abide by.
