Okay, look, I don't know what trans person out there needs to hear this, but you need to be kinder to yourself.
You can be unhappy with your appearance, clothing options, style, etc. I'm not going to deny you that, I'm there with you. What I mean is you're not a horrible person for making mistakes, getting things wrong, making stupid choices or even bad ones; you're learning. You should remember the reasons why you'll make better choices in the future, take better actions, learn new things, create better habits, etc, but you shouldn't let your failings beat you endlessly over the head. You shouldn't constantly put yourself down because you don't think you deserve kindness, complements, or even praise. The fun thing about 'deserving' nice things, is you often don't get to decide what good things you do deserve, especially when the kindness is coming from friends, because that's how they're showing they appreciate you.
Your worst critic isn't giving you the "real take" on who you are, they're highlighting the worst without comparing any of who you are with your best. That worst critic is you. Learn to tell yourself to shut the hell up, and accept the kindness, complements, and care others show you.
The simplest way to put it is: You need to be kinder to yourself, and ditch the self-depreciating internal and external commentary and jokes. It's not helping you, it's tearing you down. It's self-destructive. Focus on building yourself up. You and everyone else around you will appreciate that much more. And if you don't know where to start, then my suggestion is to find a gender affirming therapist. Get help; you deserve it. Not because you're broken, but because you deserve the upgrade, the improvement.
It's something I'm doing now myself. It's something that's making me feel better about a lot of things.
Do you want to help transgender folk in the United States AND Canada? Do you have followers that you think might be a citizen of Canada or know someone who is? If there's just the slightest chance that the answer to both those questions is either a "yes" or a "maybe" or a combination of both, then I have two things you can reblog, post on other platforms, etc. In Canada we have a federally run government website to get signatures for petitions. These petitions, if they get enough valid signatures, will show up in our Parliament for our government to consider and give a response on. Up right now and open for signature are two petitions.
First up is a petition to alter the rules for our "Third Safe Country" agreement with the United States to allow LGBTQI+ folk to seek asylum here. At current, any request for asylum from the United States regarding LGBTQI+ discrimination is blanket denied. So, lets change that with Petition e-7195:
The above petition closes for signature June 25, 2026, at 3:13 p.m. (EDT).
Second is a petition that covers quite a lot but the essence of this one is that we have a clause called the "Notwithstanding Clause" in our constitution that allows provinces to shield laws they locally pass from judicial review for 5 years so they can pass laws to solve their problems without the Federal Government from getting involved. In practice it's being used to remove human rights, and ignore aspects of our constitution like the right for those under 18 to seek gender affirming care and to deny teachers their right to protest. Petition e-7269 is requesting our government to annul the recent uses of the Notwithstanding clause to uphold the Charter that gives Canadian Citizens and Residents their human rights (this is within the Federal Governments power to do, they just haven't done it yet):
The above petition closes for signature July 24, 2026, at 11:04 a.m. (EDT)
If you could share even just the links and ask people to sign that would be fantastic. The more signatures we get, the higher on the priority list these petitions go. Every single signature counts here.
Hello my fellow Sidekick's, Henchies, and Goons!
…
I'm sick. And this cold is kicking my butt. I'm not at my best, I'll make it all up to you on Sunday, but I'll have to cancel todays stream to get better. So! I'll see you all soon!
HAPPY PRIDE!
I made this post elsewhere, but for those of you that CAN show up to Pride Parade's this year, please do so loudly and in numbers if you can! Some people are still stuck in the closet, and this is the time to remind them to keep holding on. Let's give a little hope to our siblings and be loud enough that they can hear us from all the way at the back! Pride is a protest for equal rights, for human rights, and none of us are free and equal until all of us are!

A call has gone out and a Helldiver needed, so a Kibby answers the call to help Naomii_Nova on this Tali Sidekick Broadcast of
HELLDIVERS 2 but every time Naomii_Nova gets a donation to her Ko-Fi goal I eat a spicy chip!
Hello my fellow Sidekick's, Henchie's, and Goons! I'm going to take a few days to a week off. I've had to reconsider streaming for the moment given my injury and work schedule. I can't keep a consistent broadcast schedule at the moment, so I'm going to switch gears for a bit here. To be transparent I'm going to take the week+ to work on: 1. the VTuber model, 2. my art, 3. developing basic animation skills, 4. refreshing my video editing knowledge. If all goes well, and if #4 wasn't enough of a hint, I'll get back into making videos and be streaming only 1-2 times a week. While I do want to continue streaming as it's been very rewarding, my life has just been too hectic to be consistent doing what I love with the people I love doing it with (hint: that's you). So, as I'm never going to give up on this dream of spreading joy and happiness, I'll be switching tactics. The goal at first will be 1 video a week, playing through story games and giving my thoughts at the end (aka. ranting), or just giving my thoughts on games you've all seen me play on stream. I'll see you all soon, but until then, please watch each others backs, stay safe, and stay silly.
Last night, regrettably, we had a bigot in chat …
So you know what THIS means! That's right! Another item added to the girly girl list on Throne! For those that don't know, every bigoted or transphobic comment only force-fems me faster.
4 clothing slots now open.
You think this would shut them up but they're just making me speed-run my transition at this point.
I'll buy these myself, but if anyone wants to stick it to the bigots and has a few spare dollars, you can make a bigot seethe and make me look cuter faster by giving me more clothing items to wear. ♥

So right now would be really out of character time for me to go live on twitch huh? Totally chaotic. I absolutely shouldn't ...
Ah well, I guess chaos reigns ... THE SICKNESS HAS BEEN VANQUISHED! So lets get back to Gaming, Art, and Chatting! For those unaware, I'm part of a fun assortment of streamers raising money for Trans Lifeline! Please stop by, even if things are tight and you can't donate, I just appreciate having people with me!
If I think back to major lessons I learned growing up, one was learning to uncouple the darkly dressed, sometimes dirty, weird looking person commonly labelled as the 'bad guy' in media from the expectation that that's what the 'bad guys' in real life were going to be like. While there definitely were some weird-looking folk out there that turned out to be bad, the greatest of life's real villains for me took great pains to look like they were just like everyone else. And it became slowly apparent that the framing of the darkly-dressed, sometimes shabby, weird-looking individual was more a cultural villainization of minority groups, and a christian-styled narrative theme of painting anyone in clean white and bright colours as good, and anyone in dark or dirty as bad. However, this was never something broken down and explained.
I've since felt that perhaps the same way we have kids read the works of William Shakespeare (with the breakdown on the next page) should be the way we host a class on media literacy for high-schooler's. At the current state of education in North America (specifically Canada and the US), we relegate such breakdowns as the realm of college's, universities, and other post-secondary education institutions in the area's of film or cultural studies. With the way that media is now so easily accessible, and has been for decades now (starting with the home TV, moving to the home PC, to tablets, laptops, and cellphones in the modern age) the need to move such education from post-secondary to secondary education I think is pertinent, and dare I say, vital to educating minors as they begin to approach adulthood. Especially since many politicians and public figures use such narrative elements in their addresses to attempt to seem legitimate, or well meaning when they could be anything but with their true intentions.
I know this is a long essay, but I don't think it's wrong to want children and teens to be able to more accurately understand media framing and censorship, and have them develop the skills to identify themes and tropes that might otherwise bias their interpretation of the events they see. In fact, it's an aspect of critical thinking we should uphold and promote. I think half of the grifters, and bad role-models we see in media wouldn't have half a leg to stand on with the younger generation if we taught them the basic skills. Just so that they know that a white T-shirt, a bright background, and a clean or formal look doesn't automatically land a point in the 'I should listen to this person' column. To teach them that perhaps the compare and contrast skill of "how would my mother/father/brother/sister/best friend (boy/girl/etc) at school feel if this was said about/or was them? And what if this was said about me?" are more important questions to ask before taking someone's advice.
I personally think we should make sure when we as adults today say "think before you act" that them as the next generation of future adults that WILL BE making the decisions of our later years know exactly what we mean. At current, we've done a massive disservice to a vast number of minors and adults by lapsing on such important education. And honestly, I know many of us simply didn't have the power or means to make the changes we wanted to, a lot of the power has been kept in the hands of the oldest generations in a death-grip, but that is soon to change if by no other means than time finally catching up to them and nature running it's course.
Basically, we need to look at the next several generations to come and ask ourselves how we, as power finally begins to trade hands, can make sure the future steers as far away from where we are today. I believe the answer lies not in the current craze of censorship and surveillance, but instead, in the time-tested strategy of education coming first.
I'm going to take a mental health/behind the scenes day today. I'd meant to do that on Sunday but I got swept up in the momentum of things. I do however, need a day this week where I can focus on some things on the back end and generally unwind. Please don't expect a stream today. Sorry.
If you want to stand up for transgender Canadians, then there's a petition to ask the federal government to repeal the acts signed into law that restrict transgender medical care for transgender youth:
You need only be a resident of Canada, not a citizen to sign. Please help us give transgender youth a fighting chance. Their medical care decisions should be between the handling physician and family only. This isn't a matter for politicians to decide.
This closes on the 16th of February by the way.
