u do wonder whether the ip defenders have ever actually done paid work where they produce an "intellectual" artefact cause most people who get paid to create intellectual artefacts also have in their contract the fact that they hand over ip ownership to their boss as soon as they create it. it's pretty rare for ip to lead to the creator financially benefitting. if not for ip law, i would at least have the right to do what i want with the stuff i've made innit
