Whumpee never wants to be weak again, so they push themself further and further on the training grounds. Seeking out opponents with a reputation for going all out, then for going too far. Goading their sparring partners into attacking them for real. Secretly conjuring up magical constructs who won't hesitate to draw live steel. Training until their callouses tear open, until their muscles scream, until they throw up (and wipe their mouth and get back to it), until they pass out in the dust.

And it doesn't work. They flinch at the sound of a sword unsheathing. They get sloppy and irrational. They get weak.

They managed to present a man with a dark past and anger issues who is also not a monster. He is a human being desperate to survive and nobody even knows his name anymore. The closest thing he had to a family he resents but still obviously misses terribly as he clings to that pendant and shakes.

Leading up to the ceremony ‣ knowing they would not be thrilled, the couple is not informed of the arrangement until it is set in stone and only few weeks away ‣ A had to be locked up and guarded in the days leading up to the wedding to make sure they don‘t run away ‣ B had to physically be dragged to A‘s kingdom

Right before the ceremony ‣ A threatens to stab their promised spouse upon meeting them at the altar ‣ B is threatened by their parents about making a scene during the wedding ‣ both expect the other to be much older than themself, arrogant, or otherwise undesireable ‣ “Is that a knife in your sleeve? Give me that, you are not killing your spouse before the vows are even read!”

During the ceremony ‣ the promised couple meets at the altar… and both wonder why their parents failed to mention that their promised spouse is H O T ‣ both relaxing as they make little comments during the ceremony, matching each other's freaks ‣ both only having prepared passive aggressively insulting vows and either reading them with matching smirks or improvising new ones

Simon has been painted as this terrifying, violent man literally given the name The Butcher, but Grace who gets to see the real Simon knows that he is kind, sensitive, and empathetic. Calling him Flower to associated him with something beautiful and delicate like do we see the vision??? Am I painting a picture here??? Flowers can find a way to grow and thrive in harsh conditions just like Simon never giving up his desire to live.😭😭🥹

While dandelions are often seen as weeds due to their persistent nature and ability to grown just about anywhere with enough sunlight, they are in fact completely edible at virtually all stages of their development and are ridiculously easy to prepare.
