2018 was a year of "just do it" for me. Never been to Ren Faire? It's only $20, let's go. Full time position open at work? Ask about it. Want to DM at Dragon Con? Get in a practice run or two and we're golden. This guy is publishing 3rd party 5e content? Ask him if he needs an illustrator. Want to work at Netherworld? We can work it out, now go get creepy. Thanks to this mentality I've been able to get better momentum in my art, and while I'm not quite as productive as I want to be yet, I'm on the right track. With that and my housing situation worked out, now my goal is to get this career in gear. . I've designated this wall in my room as somewhere to commemorate cool stuff I've done. There's some old stuff, some new stuff. My ceramic dragon Buttons will be moved here soon, and there's art from some cool peeps that I need to frame so I can put it up. But whenever I feel unmotivated, or worried that I haven't done anything, I'm going to look here to remind myself of the cool things I've been a part of and the friends I've made through art this past year. . I also solidly hit 200 followers yesterday, so that's super awesome! Thank you followers, thank you friends, and thank you wonderful people for hanging around and acknowledging that I do things. Best wishes to you guys, and a happy 2019 :D . . . #2019 #retrospective #art #drawing #dungeonsanddragons #pathfinder #painting #characters #dndcharacters https://www.instagram.com/p/BsHqZknjzgM/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=16an4djhse4en
