Ironically, this is what Robert’s PTSD story felt like. Very serious tale about a man suffering from depression and night terrors after enduring years of prison. Then, in comes mister funny manbun who they say is violent but hey, he has one liners and bakes in a frilly apron and sings karaoke badly after he gets dumped.

There were plenty of us willing to give the storyline a chance. I was never going to ship him with Robert, but if the show had stuck to keeping him the villain he was billed as, the storyline had plenty of potential. Potential for Robert as a character and Robron as a couple. Which is what I care about in storylines that are allegedly about Robert and Aaron. I was never going to care about Kev as his own character. I wasn't interested in that. He could have been interesting for a bit, though, but he was never going to be anything significant for me. Like all the other storylines, though Laura ran away from anything remotely resembling potential, so that plot never stood a chance.
