I named my dog Pugsley - after Pugsley from the addams family

I thought that was a pretty obvious and well known reference... But NOBODY I've met (irl) so far gets the reference. Even when I go "you know, from the addams family" I get blank stares or people just straight up telling me they don't know it.

Even people my own age who would have grown up with it too.
