i bring a sort of “women can lose at some sports against men if it means being regarded as equals” vibe to the debate that “testosterone objectively increases performance” people don’t really like

The real secret that you have to come to terms with about co-ed sports is that the "women will never win again" take exists to obscure the fact that women's leagues exist because men can't emotionally handle the emasculation they would face if they lost against a woman.

Resident Alien is wonderful because it is so 2000s era tv sci fi, from the characters to the cartoonish cgi to the wacky high-jinks i love it
