cycling around the universe

There is! It's ~6.5k right now, and it's been an on-and-off active wip all the time 😅 I've always know what I wanted to write, but only recently I've been able to solve one big issue for me related to pacing the story.

So in chapter 4 there will be some *cough* confusion about the messages that Tadej received at the end of chapter 3, and then later throughout the chapter Jonas will finally reveal his reasons for why he wanted to leave Tadej. They will get an unexpected glimpse into one possible future for them.

Chapter 5 will take us a few months into the future (to the Tour 2025) to get the story to a close. This time jump is the change I made recently - before, the story was supposed to come to its end in Monaco on the morning of their court date, and that was giving me a major headache with pacing and decisions being made too fast (or being kept too vague, which also didn't feel satisfying for this story). But now I get the chance to bring the public and the media and other people and their knowledge and opinions into the story a bit and I like that.

RULES: make a new post with the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous and tag as many people as you have WIPs. People send an ask with the title that most intrigues them, then you post a snippet or tell them something about it!

* Urškatadejonas threesome pwp fic that I'm not sure will ever see the light of day even if I finish it

* telephone fic

WOW! Truly wow, that's all there's left to say today, on December 24, which marks the official end of the Cycling RPF Drabble Advent Calendar 2024.

YOU are incredible!

When @indie-summer, @goingslightlymads and me started planning the event, we hoped that we would be able to motivate enough people to fill every day of the Advent Calendar with one drabble.

We've clearly underestimated our awesome community 😍

In the end, we indeed got (multiple) posts for every single day, with 25 different authors posting an incredible number of 72 drabbles! We got 52 drabbles and 20 double drabbles, which means 9,200 words of Cycling RPF glory that made this December so much fun!

THANK YOU to everyone who participated, whether you learned of this event from Tumblr, or on one of the Discord servers - so many different participants show how awesome our Cycling RPF family is ❤️❤️

And now, everyone grab a seat and let's sit around the Christmas tree and re-read the drabbles (and patiently wait for Secret Santa reveals 😉 the ao3 tag will be wild these next few days and I can't wait).
