I haven’t posted for a while because I’ve been so busy but I’m really trying to be active with this again so bear with!

I discovered an all-time favourite colour combination thanks to our lord and saviour MAC.

For my birthday with the money I received I bought myself the wondrous eye shadow shade of sumptuous olive which I completely in love with, it’s light enough to either wear on it’s own with a little bit of mascara, or for the evening it adds another dimension to the smokey eye! I’ve yet to try this but I’ve always wanted to try and olive based smokey effect so I have no doubts that I’ll be trying this next.

For lipstick I pondered for a while what shade would best match this, I’m a BIG fan of the various shades of purple and was considering any one of those, however, I decided to go with my all time favourite of VIVA GLAM III and I am so glad I did! It creates a heavenly duo! The darker lips balance off the light eyes and create a wonderful look!

A fun neutral look for once! I've been trying to get away from doing my staple of winged eyeliner!

Apologies because I know it looks like I took these photos with a potato!

I wanted to share with you my make up for when I was Maleficent at my friend's 21st Birthday party back in October. When I first started looking into this I had to choose whether to go down the Disney classic route or the Angelina Jolie depiction. I got very overwhelmed by both as there were so many tutorials and pictures of people who had already done it so I decided to try and do my own take of both! The purple lace on the horns represents the Disney classic whilst the minimal make up represents Angelina Jolie's Maleficent!

For this look I exclusively used my Smashbox Full Exposure palette for both eyes and cheeks. I got the effect of cheek bones from the use of tape and a lot of blending to make the lines curved rather than straight. I used MAC Viva Glam III on my lips for a burst of deep colour.

All in all I really enjoyed this look and am proud of my efforts and received many nice compliments. If I were to change anything I would have perhaps gone with a smokier eye next time.

This is my make up from the last night I went out on!

I decided to experiment with some gems that are meant for your nails, I attached them with eyelash glue and they stayed on all night with no worries!

On my lips I am wearing MUA Lip Lacquer in Atomic and I love the stuff, just doesn't smudge at all!

I also got told that I looked like a spice girl this night so girl power right?

I was going for a 1960s minimal vibe and I'm trying to slowly move away from wearing so much eyeliner all the time!

I recently purchased MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in 'Atomic' and I'm very very impressed! It currently retails at £3.00 in a variety of different shades so go and snap them up now! Off to Superdrug with you!

The best thing about it by far is the vibrancy of the colour, it is very noticeable! The downside, what with it being a lip lacquer is that it's quite drying so definitely make sure you moisturise your lips before hand and even apply a gloss afterwards if you need more.

Quick post I know but I intend on getting another and I will update you on that!

Sorry my rather delayed hiatus of sorts. It's my favourite favourite season of the year and I wanted to celebrate by doing a look inspired by AUTUMN ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

For my eyes I am wearing M4 Smashbox all over the lid from my Full Exposure palette. I am wearing Doubloon holographic glitter along my lower and upper lashline and finally Coinage across my browbone! The latter two are from my FrontCover Moon Dust box.

Also finally get to show you my new MAC Viva Glam III which is not only to die for but is absolutely perfect for Autumn!

Make up of the day!

Today I tried out a Kim Kardashian look! It's a little different to what I'm used to, especially with the nude lips but I love it. Gave me a chance to use my new Rimmel Apocalips in Nude Eclipse! I created the eye look using Smashbox Full Exposure palette!

Today I am reviewing Dead Sea Spa Magik 'Algimud Active Seaweed Mask'. This is a product I used yesterday but have chosen to review it today so that my skin could settle overnight.

This is a mask I received for free as part of a 'buy two items, get a third for free' deal at Holland & Barrett, the mask would usually RRP for £2.89 down from the previous cost of £3.85.

Perks: You do get a lot from your money, you could probably make at least 4 face masks from what you are given, as the mask is in powder form. The instructions are very clear and everything you would possibly need is included in the pack. It's also a very good 'no mess' mask pack as the mask is a 'peel off' and once off face, you simply put it in the bin rather than having to wash it off. To its credit, it peeled off effortlessly and I was impressed with this.

Downsides: After removing the mask, I can honestly say that my skin felt/looked no different to how it looked previously, but I felt immediate judgement would be unfair and that I would leave it till the morning to make full judgement. Unfortunately I awoke to a horrible break out! I had gained about four nasty whiteheads, which I found very disappointing, I'm glad that I did not use this mask in preparation for an event. The mask itself has very good reviews so this may be down to my skin having an odd reaction, but ultimately I was disappointed.

Today I tried out Soigné Nail Lacquer, a product that came with my May Birchbox. The colour is ‘Cerise’ - in other words bright pink (think magenta).

The product itself comes beautifully if not a little over packaged in a classy monochrome box. I found the box slightly stiff on opening.

The lacquer itself provides excellent coverage and really even just one coat would be enough if applied well.

Hi, so a week or so ago, I hinted that I was going to be reviewing Dead Sea, Spa Magik's Gentle Cleansing Facial Wash. I have been using this product for a solid week and I'm overwhelming pleased with the results and it's taken me a lot of courage to post these pictures. I also look forward to seeing the results after a month of use!

I've always suffered from bad skin ever since my early teens and used varying face washes that never really helped my skin. Unfortunately where I didn't use to leave my break outs alone, I have scarring from spots on various areas of my face which I hope to one day get professionally removed. I bought this product as I had read somewhere that dead sea was very good for spot prone skin and had read several good reviews on this product - and boy were they right?!

My skin is never going to be flawless but ever since I started using this face wash, my skin has felt so smooth, plus it also feels like I'm getting a real deep clean every time I use it. It has incredible lasting power, you only need to use a pea sized amount each time, and that amount foams up, if it starts to dry, you simply add a little more water. It's lasting power is a huge benefit as the face wash itself is a little pricey but I would champion this till the end of time because believe me it's worth it!

I bought it in Holland & Barrett where the product retails for £9.25, although when I purchased there was a deal where if you bought another Spa Magik product, you recieved a free face mask, of which I am yet to test!
