opla season 2 spoilers, but i'm still in awe at how sanji and usopp were completely fine having sex with one another?????? like???? ok. damn.

actually obsessed (and GREATLY appreciative) of the fact that the opla team thought to themselves 'steven john ward is too good to have a mihawk-less season' and decided he'd be haunting zoro's ass making snarky comments

the thing is sanji and zoro both have self-worth issues just in different fonts. sanji's self-worth issues are "my life is inherently less valuable and i have to always be giving in order to be worth something" and zoro's self-worth issues are "if i can't live up to (completely unrealistic expectations) then i'm not worth anything and was never worth anything to begin with." so sanji is always trying to be someone and do something for other people and zoro is always pushing himself further and further to the point where it basically becomes self-harm. and it ties into their personas. sanji performs over-the-top service and zoro performs stoicism and steadiness (and people fall for it! including large portions of the fandom!)
