I'm only putting the stuff I'm genuinely proud of there. As it turns out, most of my pieces are about isolation, fear, the gap between what you show and what other perceive, structural violence... so, you know, have fun with that.

The Peacemakers | 150k | alternate dimension, age swap, clearly a dead dove: don't eat type of story, Obishisaku for the win | During the Fourth war, Sakura is sent to another Konoha, and has to experience what living in Konoha really is like when you kill people and not monsters
The Peacemakers is the monster I birthed when I was tired of only writing my phd dissertation lol. It's also its own sort of dissertation on what it means to live in a military society, what can mean to be from a minority culture, if these things mean anything at all and if one can make their own meaning out of them. I also explored the implications of the sharingan, what it could do to people to grow up with such influencing powers, how that necessarily affects their relationships with others. Can you be earnest and sincere if manipulation is in your nature? It was heavily influenced by Waldo Williams' poetry. Writing this made me realise I could be as ambitious in fiction as I am in scholarly writings.
Ekranoplan | on-going | A 1960s, sort of cold-war au, slice-of-life, sort of Sakura-centric but not really | Following a large cast, exploring their lives as they go through it
It's also my love letter to public transportation, public housing, and kvass. I'm exploring there similar themes as in The Peacemakers: militarism, cultures, but also gender and, inevitably, gaps between the perceived self and the experienced one.
