So while we were away i started back up on learning blender. Tried out some basic UV mapping and bump maps. Of course the first step would be the childrens toy block. The tutorial version was...crude to say the least...so i thought i'd make it a little darker and more interesting.

I give to you the final evolution of Sleeping Lion from Kingdom Hearts Unchained X! This key was made on commission and i have to say it was a real joy to make something a little more obscure. Incredibly delayed post....not forming bad habits at all... Had to take a quick trip away but have now returned to post these DND dice that i made some time ago for my friends. I used the dice i already had to make a mold and cast these and boy oh boy, never again will i use resin that's been sitting in my cupboard for...probably more than a year after opening ^^; Also turns out that d4's can be a real pain to not get air bubbles in. I'm considering somewhere down the line to try and maybe make a better mold and make dice to sell. I think i'd having fun trying to think of some interesting design choices i could make to make them cool and interesting. Feel free to drop a comment if anyone might be interested in a set!
