I haven’t posted here in ages but I crawl back from the dead to say my thing, because I feel like many people don’t appreciate the finale and it hurts me because I think it was simply perfect.

not perfect for us tho, I always said before season 3 aired that them becoming humans was one of the worst case scenarios. They deserve to spend eternity with each other. They deserve their centuries of love. Aziraphale and Crowley deserved to be together.

so no, it wasn’t the perfect ending, but it was THEIR perfect ending. Because there is no version of the universe in which they don’t adore humanity enough to choose it over themselves. And there is no universe in which they don’t manage to claw their way back to each other despite everything.
