I think about my boyfriend a lot too. He’s also in my head.

I think I’ve figured it out though. How to live properly. For myself.

I just need to live more consciously, navigate life more mindfully. But isn’t that more thinking?

But it’s the thing before the thinking about acting. Before the thinking before speaking.

It’s the pause. The pause before the reaction. But how do you catch yourself before you fall?

I think I have to slow down. And sweep each step in front of me before I land.

It’s the reactivity, particularly the emotional reactivity. It’s the waves that I get caught up in that send me out to sea.

I need to be still and move with consciousness.
