please keep my grandpa in your prayers. he left us to go meet His Lord. he left behind him knowledge that he taught which I pray Allaah makes heavy on his scales. he is the first grief in my life and my heart is absolutely shattered but to Allaah we belong and to Him, sooner than later, we shall all return.

J went to the park today very late than usual and it was so empty. some stranger kid her age who is here from London for a few days came with so much excitement and introduced himself and wanted to play with her. the next half an hour was me chatting with his mom while both of us in awe at our kids bonding so beautifully and innocently it melted my heart. told her about my love for Istanbul as there are originally from there and where I visited and recommendations for where to go here with the kids. we scheduled a play date tomorrow already and actually thinking of taking the picnic mat and serving his parents Arabian coffee tomorrow…
