man there was just something so special about the scene where joaquin finally tells sam about the pressure he feels to be perfect, in order to live up to the standards sam set as falcon. like you can just tell from the look on his face that sam really needed to hear that: that as much as he struggles to fill steve’s shoes, somebody else is struggling to fill his. because sam is a hero—someone that kids from all around the world probably look up to, who makes people feel safe, who can always be counted on to get back up and make the right decision, super serum or not.

God had to humble me by giving me a good brain, but adding in an executive functioning disorder that makes it nearly impossible to organize my thoughts or express my ideas. Sometimes the struggle to form a coherent thought inside my own mind, without getting distracted in the middle of that thought and losing its thread, is impossible.

just going to say that you’re not a real steve rogers stan if you think endgame made sense for his character. you prefer fanon, and that’s ok, but the real steve rogers would never go back in time rather than March forward. he would never abandon his friends. he would always choose a pickett line over a pickett fence. bc that man could retire from being captain america, but never from being steve rogers
