I never heard back from the library about the salaried entry-level librarian position that is meant for mlis students, and I see they relisted the job opening on their website, so I'm shooting my shot and email the HR contact about how I never heard back but I'm still interested and also I should be given the all-clear to work without restrictions in about a week at my next follow-up appointment with the orthopedic surgeon

so I might get a very awkward and sad "sorry but the hiring committee was not interested in you" email, but tbh that would be better than them just ghosting me.......

I know it's not a good sign that they ghosted me in the first place, so I genuinely am expecting to get a rejection email in the morning, but goddddddd I desperately want this job....... I would be making 3.5x as much as what I make at the nursery school in a year.......
