i'm a sucker for fictional arguments that don't solve anything. fights where there's no clarity or catharsis, where people aren't honest about their feelings and might not even know how they feel in the first place, where they tear strips out of each other and say a bunch of horrible shit they don't even mean and everyone goes away hurt and angry and nothing is resolved. fights where both parties lie awake in bed afterwards staring at the ceiling feeling sick to their stomachs wondering if that's it, if everything is ruined now. fights where fixing it requires conscious, deliberate effort, and not just an angry confession in the rain.

(actually tbh i'm also a sucker for 'angry confession mid-fight makes everything Worse'. you're not getting out of it that easy! :D)
