Hey Deus. What kind of game IS CrossCode, actually?
It's kind of like the old top-down Zelda games but as an RPG, with levels and skill trees. Also, for some reason, platforming. (Alabaster Dawn, the new game by the same people, plays basically the same but with the improvements learned from CrossCode, so you can check out the demo to get a feel for how CrossCode plays).
Story-wise, it takes place inside of an MMO called CrossWorld, made in the distant future where humanity has spread through the galaxy. CrossWorld is actually built in realspace, with the digital elements such as mobs and avatars handled via the company's proprietary technology, Instant Matter. You play as an amnesiac young woman looking for herself within the game, which is complicated both by the fact that she can only say a handful of words and by the blue weirdo who takes an interest in her presence within the game.

Uncle Iroh from ATLA. Make sure you meet Uncle Iroh from ATLA or you'll get the bad ending where you didn't meet Uncle Iroh from ATLA.

A five-year-old-girl who can and will ragdoll you across a ship
Arrghus and Vitreous if they fused
Furthermore, the game has a DLC expansion adding four more chapters after the end of the main game, mostly serving to tie off loose ends and provide more chances for character interaction.
