Tell us a bit about what you're working on right now and your journey into interactive fiction

I’m working on the sequel to my first interactive fiction game, I, the Forgotten One. It’s a pretty beastly project, as the multiple endings diverge into three primary routes, so every chapter needs to be written about two and a half times. I started ITFO six years ago during COVID, and it was just a hobby for a while, but I’ve been attempting to take it more seriously with the opening of a Patreon, hoping that I can potentially do writing full time in the future.

But in Choice of Rebels, the Hegemony had the tools to create the dragons in the shadow. The more the MC explore the world, the more he sees how much Theurgy became ingrained in every aspect of their civilization. Food, transportation, protections, communication.

And everytime the same question appears "How can you tear down a system that found it's way to every corner of this civilization". The Theurgy and Hegemony is a cancer in the continent, a tumor that grew to the point that removing it might kill millions upon millions. And at the same time, this tumor already killed millions upon millions before, and will keep killing millions upon millions after.

Jude talked a little about thinking in making Renata aromantic in O, Your Heavenly Star!, but i dont know any aromantic people so i dont know how its their experience, so i dont know if its exactly what i want

I just think it would be a extremely devious and delicious angst a RO that simply cant love mc romantically back. Not that there is some larger force forcing them apart, but the RO simply doesnt develop the romantic feelings.

It would be even better if they do love platonically Mc, or do feel attraction from them. So there is this underlining and constant warmth and connection that just cuts short of what Mc wants

I think a periodo piece like OYHS is even more interesting, because one of the main drawns for OYHS is its focus to aboard gender and sexuality in that time period. Both for the ROs and the Mc.

Or maybe a story where the MC try and try to make things "right", but there is nothing wrong with him or the RO, its simply not gonna happen.

They are clearly hiding something bad about Seven, and the extent of how bad it is may change my answer.

My mc is deeply attached to the band. But he also is becoming increasingly ambitious during the show because of G and his inferiority complex. If they break his trust there is a good shot that he is gonna feel justified enough to leave them.
