I'm making a choice-driven football game (haven't figured out a name for it quite yet) set around South Africa's World Cup run.
You play as Derrick Love, a striker for Bafana Bafana. Every choice (on the pitch, in interviews, at home) decides who he becomes and where the story goes. Inspired by Disco Elysium and Suzerain but built in Ink and Unity.
I've been deep in the writing for the past few months and I'm currently buried in a single scene that's somehow eaten 17,000+ words on its own (it's a big one, you'll see why eventually). I'll be posting snippets, dev process stuff, and devlogs here as I go.
If you're into interactive fiction, branching narrative design, or just want to follow along as this gets built — welcome.
