they say "i wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy" and it's some shit i would wish on the 47th person down on my enemy list. im starting to think some of you don't have real enemies

also i firmly believe that jj and hotch have one of the most underappreciated friendships in the whole series because she's essentially his sidekick in s1 in the same way that spencer is gideon's sidekick, but unlike gideon & spencer, hotch always trusted her & treated her essentially like an equal who was totally capable and competent. and what really cemented it for me was that one scene in season 1 where hotch tells her cases with kids are hard for him since having jack and that it's okay if she has trouble with the fact that most of the cases that come across her desk have victims just like her. there's just a mutual respect there that i really love
