As a ghost feeding on in about ambient energy of emotions Danny was beginning to starve in the Amity, it’s hard, having to leave his fraid, haunt, dimension but as a ghost king coming in to power he had to if he wanted to survive, in the end it’s not forever, he will return in about two or three years, until then his haunt is being protected by his rouges turned subjects.
It sucks he can’t keep communication open for his fraid. It will be really hard for him on this front. But he needs to grow into his power, mature. And this brings him back to the xenofailed thing – he needed a new form, something scary, but still practical enough to hunt and instill fear in the people of his temporary hunting grounds. And what did Danny think of? Alien franchise, that’s what. The problem became apparent when it turned out that the farther chosen biology is from the shapeshifters (and what a ride was finding that he is one) the harder it is to achieve the exact desired result. He turned out comically wrong – a pale, hairless being with, for some reason, six limbs and a tail that looked wrong in the way that a detail added to the draft too late was in the grand scheme of things. His head distorted, but stayed the same, jest weirdly elongating in the process. It looked bad, and not a scary, but a pitiful bad. So the “failed” part stuck. Then he tweaked and adjusted – tails (now with two tips, because for some reason it was easier) shifted down, elongated, his body grew muscles, the neck became thicker, exhale tubes became actually usable – he can more efficiently cool down when he runs faster than a living, sweating animal should, and since he can properly close them he now can cwim. Whatever mix of paws and hands he conjured became wider, gaining grip and retractable claws, he got a third eyelid to protect his eyes, light body armor made from bone beneath skin and fat, the skin turned darker, closer to black, with head staying light with the same light streak running down his spine, oh and now he glows from the inside!
Still, he did not want to cause harm, he wanted to do good! But looking like that, needing easy strong emotions – easiest of with was fear – he had to adjust. They – he and the council, mainly Clockwork made a plan. The plan was plain and simple – vigilantism. He is to be shipped to the world filled with villains and to become a villain hunter. What a life.
