A zesty and flavorful twist on traditional hummus, this Spicy Black Bean Hummus is perfect for those who love a bit of heat in their snacks.
Ingredients: 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed. 1/4 cup tahini. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup olive oil. 2 tablespoons lemon juice. 1 teaspoon cumin. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a food processor, combine black beans, tahini, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Season with salt and pepper to taste, blend again until well combined. Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with extra olive oil, and sprinkle with a pinch of cayenne for garnish. Serve with pita chips or fresh veggies.
