Top two pics are my personal interpretations of the four Mini Music Men

Chord - Patrols the Parts & Service vent. Daycare simp, but especially a fan of Moon. Will play a music box version of the Daycare theme from time to time. Scared of Freddy, due to Parts & Service repairs. Group baby. Has bells & a ribbon tied on their hat. Name based on computer cords/musical chords/Moon’s cord that he uses to fly.

Gig -  Patrols the vent behind the greenrooms on Rockstar Row. Freddy fan. Scared of Monty, due to room thrashing behavior. Responsible & trustworthy. Likes people watching. Has a light blue bowtie tied around their neck. Name based on Gigabyte/a musical ‘gig’.

Chip - Patrols the Salads & Sides vent leading down to the kitchen. Is a Chica fan & wants to know what it’s like to eat food. Excitable. Has a pink hair bow tied on their hat. Name based on computer chip/chiptune/potato chip.

Coda - Patrols the East Arcade/Prize Counter vent. Is a Monty & Roxy sympathizer. Overall chill. Loves plushes & will hoard merch. Has Monty style sunglasses. Name based on computer code/a musical coda.

The last two of my drawings for the platonic DCA prompt list by @bloo-the-dragon​​. I mostly just focused on Sun & Moon in generic situations, so as to keep to the schedule, not burn myself out, & actually finish. Sun’s prompts are odd numbered, Moon’s are even, though these last two break that precedent a bit.

These ones require a slight bit more explanation than the rest.

29 - Confession. I was stumped for what to do on this one. It’s hard to draw a verbal confession, and I didn’t want to make a complicated scene. Ended up asking my wife, who suggested drawing a scene from an RP where Vanessa confesses to Moon about past abuse in her life. He is... concerned for her, to say the least. 30 - Family. Most all the Pizzaplez, sans some redundant STAFF bots, endos, the Blob, and Peepaw Willy. Based off a Wreck-it Ralph style AU where the game is just everyone’s job and they’re free to live their own lives after hours. Also, Sun & Moon are separate, based on the fact that you can run back to the Daycare & have Sun pop out of the slide while Moon is chasing you. Additionally, the four mini Music Men from the different vents are unique characters and have accessories & names to tell them apart. Probably should’ve darkened a number of lines, especially on DJ, but I was just glad to finish this thing. Especially since I was drawing so small.

I did so good at doing these prompts relatively on time... I stuck through it all month, drawing on my 15 min breaks at work... Proud of myself for that, even if I did cram the weekend prompts into Mon-Fri. Plus, I think I developed a pretty good, simplified sketch style for the boys!

This is my art done for the 10 Years of Wrecking event last month, in celebration of Wreck-it Ralph’s 10 year anniversary! I’m suuuper late posting this, but I promise I did... most of these on time. I did good with weeks 1-4, okay?! Besides, it’s kinda poetic to have this post today, considering my wife @turbomun & I first spoke on Dec 23, 2012. 

Week 1 - Felix & Ralph. Week 2 - Ralph & Vanellope Week 3 - Hero’s Cuties Week 4 - the Core Four Week 5 - Free space, turned into Ghostboy! Turbo week, in honor of the fanfic that changed my life forever!

Not entirely satisfied - could use some tweaks here & there. Ralph’s hair always gave me trouble, facial proportions are off here & there, Sarge’s eyes are a bit too big... But overall, I’m satisfied. Especially since I was drawing A LOT through November. 

I’m really satisfied with the design I settled on for Sun & Moon. Not really mainstream, & not biblically accurate, but I think I hit a sweet spot.

Some of my favorite Daycare OCs I’ve seen around Tumblr... Plus my boy, of course, wondering why he doesn’t get as cool a design haha.

Twinkling Star belongs to @curiousechoo. Love the aesthetic on this boy, plus the poster they drew to match Sun & Moon is absolutely amazing.

Puff belongs to @linkerbell and is the child of vurelly‘s Cosmo and starlightcloudbaby‘s Cloud. Cosmo is one of my favorites, & I’ve drawn him before, but there’s something really precious about Puff’s design that I love. Maybe it’s the way one of her eyes is hidden in the cloud, or maybe it’s the capelet. Either way, adorable.

Edit: I have been informed that I’ve made an error. Puff is ACTUALLY the child of @vurelly‘s Roto and @oriiduckko‘s Tear. Whoops!

Starlet belongs to @saltyfryz. Baby. Baby baby baby. Could totally see, like... 3-5 of these little guys running around the Daycare as playmates for the toddlers.

Twinkle belongs to @ihavenohotcocoa. Very motherly vibe. You don’t get many female Daycare OCs, funny enough. Even the ones that look feminine, like Cloud or fan-favorite Blommy (who I still have to draw) are he/him. There’s also an elegance in the simplicity of her design that I like, but it’s also streamlined to the point of being borderline futuristic. Reminds me of all those 80′s/90′s movies speculating what the future would be like.

So. My cat threw up on my Moon plush yesterday. He got a bath after.
