💖✨My Korok outfit for the con today✨💖

Kayak korok! Because I was at the lake last weekend and I'm going to a different lake this weekend.

Since I know a bit more about this paper, I tried to optimize for the stuff it's good at, which is letting the paint pool and dry slowly. Fun for adding textures and doing blends!

Korok time! I had fun throwing koroks into this painting exercise about shape and colour contrasts. (Thank you once again to the public library for the endless supply of art books.) Still not happy with the way the ink pools on this paper, but hiding the really feathered edges where it dried funny with ink was fun.

Plus it's angst time for day 5 my @zelinkcommunity 's Zelink Week fic. Plus more slander against poor Revali who brought this on himself.

Excerpt:

Zelda had thought it would be a relief when they left for the Lost Woods. They were done! Everyone thought she was thoroughly unsuitable as a marriage prospect, she hadn’t gotten summoned by her father and interrogated over the status of her womb, and now she was off on a mission where there would be no more people trying to bribe Impa for a peek at her schedule, or dodge Link in the hallways, or evade the wrath of her tiniest guardian. She was ready to relax and travel with the people who knew her best in the world. But… she hadn’t really understood, until she was standing there with a perfect mug of tea in her hands, that one of those people was Link.

I like this Wild a lil more.

I think facial expressions will be the death of me tho. I spent so long getting those eyes to be in the same position.

Made this one off memory tho so… could be worse.

If you couldn’t tell, I like koroks! Sad most of them only say ‘Yahaha!’ and ‘Twee-Hee!’

Tomorrow I will be back with one more!

First up: Calamo. I had a lot of trouble with paint beading on the new paper and the colours coming out really pale so I had to layer them over and over, but I had 4 hours of corporate rah rah to sit through and paint so I think he still turned out okay!

She threw up her hands, her nervousness about asking this huge favour suddenly boiling over into frustration. "Fine! Be like that! I can work with that! My silent knight! I hear mysterious lovers are all the rage in the romance novels. I'm sure everyone will be busy wondering if you were as silent when our imaginary child was conceived and no one will even think of the calamity any longer."
