The last two of my drawings for the platonic DCA prompt list by @bloo-the-dragon. I mostly just focused on Sun & Moon in generic situations, so as to keep to the schedule, not burn myself out, & actually finish. Sun’s prompts are odd numbered, Moon’s are even, though these last two break that precedent a bit.
These ones require a slight bit more explanation than the rest.
29 - Confession. I was stumped for what to do on this one. It’s hard to draw a verbal confession, and I didn’t want to make a complicated scene. Ended up asking my wife, who suggested drawing a scene from an RP where Vanessa confesses to Moon about past abuse in her life. He is... concerned for her, to say the least. 30 - Family. Most all the Pizzaplez, sans some redundant STAFF bots, endos, the Blob, and Peepaw Willy. Based off a Wreck-it Ralph style AU where the game is just everyone’s job and they’re free to live their own lives after hours. Also, Sun & Moon are separate, based on the fact that you can run back to the Daycare & have Sun pop out of the slide while Moon is chasing you. Additionally, the four mini Music Men from the different vents are unique characters and have accessories & names to tell them apart. Probably should’ve darkened a number of lines, especially on DJ, but I was just glad to finish this thing. Especially since I was drawing so small.

22 - Googly Eyes. C’mon. He totally WOULD stick giant googly eyes on himself. Sun already has the supplies. Why not? 23 - Sick Day. Even robots get burnt out from time to time. 24 - Dinner. Gotta make sure you’re getting 3 meals a day! 25 - Story Time. Everyone likes puppet shows! ... Right? 26 - Sleep. You... probably shouldn’t take that Moondrop candy... 27 - Arson. WHO GAVE THE BABY ACCESS TO FIRE?! 28 - Trust. What? Are you scared of heights? He won’t drop you! You trust your good old pal Moony, right?

15 - Prank. This is, by far, my weakest idea for a prompt, as well as my worst execution imo. Couldn’t think of anything better though, so Sun gets to be startled by a sudden fart noise. 16 - Dress Up. With winter on the brain, I couldn’t resist drawing Moony in a fluffy, cozy lined jacket with a matching capelet! Would totally love that thing for myself, ngl. 17 - Swim. Sunny in swim gear, skinny legs, crocs & all! Doubt they’d attempt to swim on their own, outside the common mermaid AUs, but he can still supervise the kiddos! 18 - Gym Jesters. They stretch!! I’ve drawn these guys in so many bendy poses it’s ridiculous. The sweatbands do add a bit of humor, though. I know a good number of y’all go nuts over bald Moon, haha! 19 - Bug Hunting. He just thinks they’re neat!! I love the little hat I gave him. He looks so cute with all those buggos! 20 - Gaming. ... Yeah. I don’t think this one needs an explanation, does it? Partially inspired by @paper-lilypie’s drawings as well! 21 - Domestic. Sun would absolutely love cooking once he gets the hang of it. All the better to take care of his loved ones with!

8 - Kiss. The kids definitely kissed them once or twice. I wonder how they reacted the first time, though... (That semi-self-insert-slash-Y/N again) 9 - Haunted. Didn’t want to get too carried away drawing ghosts, bodies, & whatever else. Plus, it was a Sun day, so I decided to go with the threat of virus-infected Moon hovering over his shoulder instead of a literal haunting. 10 - Fantasy. Story time with Moony!! 11 - Catboys. ... The meme potential is all I could think about with this one... 12 - Angst. He misses them... 13 - Arts & Crafts. Sunny always comes prepared! 14 - Cuddle. Return of the insert-slash-Y/N. I think all of us Daycare stans could probably use a good, long hug while you doze in a loved one’s arms, yeah...?

I did so good at doing these prompts relatively on time... I stuck through it all month, drawing on my 15 min breaks at work... Proud of myself for that, even if I did cram the weekend prompts into Mon-Fri. Plus, I think I developed a pretty good, simplified sketch style for the boys!
1 - Morning after Halloween. Sun is 100% the type of person to gush over costumes and hang up pictures. He probably has collections of pictures, or at least digital files in his memory 2 - Autumn. A post-fire/otherwise outside-the-Pizzaplex moment. They’ve probably never seen a real fall leaf before. Those pretty, pretty colors... They’re definitely missing out. 3 - Hug. Offer of a comfort hug!! 4 - Broken. ... How ‘bout them STAFF bots in their room? 5 - Parental/Caretaker. Semi-self-insert. Can also be Y/N. Just Sun being wholesome and 100% dad material. 6 - Space. I love love LOVE the starry aesthetic of the Daycare. I think it would actually be nice to hang out in with the lights dark and everything quiet. But there’s no way Moon HASN’T pretended he’s flying through space, even once. 7 - Dragons. Sun would SO be into playing as a knight in shining armor. You can’t convince me otherwise. And making a Monty plush the dragon was a no-brainer. There’s so many fics/art pieces out there that have him & the Daycare boys clashing, plus he’s already a big ol’ lizard!
