Coming alive from a nightmare that ultimately meant nothing to Riot, he gets up and sees his own sister sitting on her lackey with familiar apathy. When they meet eyes, disgust fills her eyes, but that doesn't matter. She abuses the man she commands, telling him that her plan failing was all his fault. Next to him is Ozzie, who had just seen all the things that reside within Riot's mind. The only thing he wishes about Ozzie at this point is for him to go back to sleep.

Ozzie takes control of the situation as always, doing his effective taunting towards both the girl and the man behind her. Riot's previous wish is easily granted by Madeline. Ozzie's body lays in the doorway as he falls into a deep slumber again. Jef soon wakes up, only to fall again to the enraged Roger. He's not sure when Empi will wake up. Of course this means Riot is cornered, but as he touches around for any tools to get him out of this situation, he feels the gun he's been carrying all this time.

It was the only answer to everything. Or was it just a reason to let go?

He aimed the gun at his own blood.

“No, no, no! This can't be happening!"

Madeline's in disbelief, how could someone like him pull out a weapon on someone as perfect as she is? Riot is a pathetic failure, even more than the men she's swooned with her streams, because ultimately he adds nothing of value to this world. No one has any use for him. But still, the gun was pointed at her, and she did the only thing that would console herself in this situation, and that was to use her position to bring down Riot. It was easy to get into his head, she was his annoying little sister at all.

"Ugh! Mommy left you for a reason, I’m supposed to be better than you! She loves me more!”

Riot begins to laugh. A chill is sent down the spines of every witness.

Why would a stupid line like that affect him? But he knows how to play by these rules. After all, he is the eldest Kane brother.

"Hah, you're still caught up on that? Do you think I still care at this point about what that wretched woman thinks of me? It seems as if I still know her better than you, after all these years. I know for a fact that mom doesn't even care you're here about to get your head blown off because at the end of the day, we're all pieces of shit.”
