hey, i want to make sure youāre aware of something important: magicaltempestjourney / Magret Gati is a documented scammer. theyāve been caught running this exact scam under multiple identities for years.

are you able to delete their scam from your blog, or clearly label it as a scam so it doesn't spread to others? remember you can use the tumblr search box to search the username/paypal account name/text used by people asking for money to check if theyāve been proven to be a scammer

Do not donate your money to, or reblog any posts from, @/magicaltempestjourney bc they are a scammer. Take down any of your reblogs if you havenāt already done so, and report the OP for spam.
Itās been a while since Iāve seen any submissions from scammers in my inbox, but the two most recent messages Iāve received were too conspicuous to ignore, so here I am
Here are the two messages in question. Perhaps you can tell why they caught my attention:
If you go through my previous call outs, scammers using multiple accounts isnāt unique to this instance. But just to be absolutely sure that I wasnāt labeling someone in need of real help as a scammer, I looked into their respective blogs
āmagicaltempestjourneyāsā pinned post has a few red flags that immediately stood out to me:
They use multicolor text, which is an unserious detail thatās often used in scam posts like this
Those images in their post are also pretty unserious, considering what theyāre requesting donations for
Their goal is suspiciously low for such a seemingly dire situation
Their blog was only created last month (scam blogs are usually recent like this)
Their pfp is actually an illustration by artist Julian Callos, who is not the āMagret Gatiā that the linked PayPal belongs to (as seen below); itās not unheard of for people to use other artistsā works for their pfps, but something tells me they wouldnāt use suspicious PayPal links that arenāt under their own name when asking for financial help for their own issues
As for āsicklycleverarchivistā, I donāt actually have to share much about them; itās not just bc Iām certain theyāre the same scammer as āmagicaltempestjourneyā, but also bc their blog doesnāt actually exist anymore. And Iām fairly certain their blog doesnāt exist anymore bc āMagret Gatiā has already been called out as a scammer before, along with the other blogs theyāve previously used to scam people (which you can see here, here, and here)
As always, never trust a donation post linked to a PayPal account unless said link has been verified by a trusted source

fuck it. be creative even if you never really *make* anything. write out plot synopses of stories and then move on. design OCs you'll never use. make mood boards and concept art and don't do anything with them. life's too short to forget everything that inspired you and creation doesn't have to be "complete" to be worth the time you put into it.
