I think he never really realized it during paragon, because he just couldn't wrap his hand around the situation as a whole and kept on yapping about the old wifies etc. etc. We know he just blamed Wifies for becoming the villain of his own accord, and the whole director arc, it felt as if Parrot just wasn't talking the director's truth seriously at all
And then we ask the question, why didn't parrot keep Wifies' memory alive after paragon? "when people ask me who Wifies was" smh they don't. it's too easy not to mention him, but why?
Because parrot is ashamed. That's how it feels. Shame is what drives people to hide themselves, cover up a part of their life, their past
Because when people ask parrot who the director was, what is he gonna say? to cite prev, "my best friend who turned into a villain because of me"? "The friend I trusted a lot, but once I disagreed with him, he started exploiting and killing my other friends and made me kill him"? Ok this is it, I have to get something of my chest. Because of this goddamned Odyssey film I keep reading everywhere that Emily Wilson is the first woman to translate the Odyssey and because of this she has a unique take on the text.... NO NO NO THIS IS NOT TRUE she's the first ENGLISH woman to translate the Odyssey but women have been translating and publishing their translation since the 1700s !!!! In French and Italian and I'm sure other languages too!!
I'm so mad because students in Italy have been studying on Rosa Calzecchi Onesti's translation for decades!! Her translation is so well regarded it keeps being used in academia to this day and it's from the 60s!!! There have been dozens of other translations since then but we keep using that one !!!
(and also many other women published their translations both before and after her)

I am hoping to collect several thousand such posts, so that I have a decent sized dataset. I do not care what the post is about; if it's labeled as "mature content", I want to add it to my dataset.
If I get 10,000 posts in my dataset before August 31st 2026, I will post my preliminary findings then. I won't feel comfortable calling my findings "settled" before 2027, unless I get over 50,000 posts.
