Bro your art is so pretty aaa. Apologies if you’ve ever talked about this before but I’m really interested in your coloring process. I’m trying to get a better sense of how to use different hues in shading instead of just values and you do that rlly well :D

i honestly don’t have a super complex color process, i simply lay down an under painting, the choose colors based on that under painting or my general picture of what the piece should look like ^^

grayscale is your best friend, i try to check my values very frequently to maintain consistency

as for color variation, i try to pick colors that are somewhat analogous on the color wheel that are of the same value, and incorporate them into areas i believe could use more interest
