friend is trying to convince me this is a common experience and I do not believe her, so
Do you expect to be paid back if you pay for something for your friend while youâre hanging out? (I.E. a ride, a meal, a trinket.)
Yes, always
Yes, but only if itâs above a limit of money
No, never
I donât buy things for my friends.

For a more illustrative example, say you go to the movies with a friend and you buy them popcorn, do you expect them at some point to send you money back via cash or through an app of some kind? Will you be upset if they donât?

I feel like the only time in my art that it's Extremely obvious I'm hashtag blind is every time I make a comic, the dialogue text and bubbles are way too big. And like . I know they're too big in my head but I struggle to make them smaller on the page because like I don't know how much smaller they can be and still be readable to the average person you know?
So anyways which one of these is the smallest you can read comfortably?
american sports racism is so pervasive (american racism, the myth of the noble savage, and the laurelisation of the wild west) that multiple european sports teams use names like "Indians" and have logos based on racist caricature of native americans.

they should legalize polyamory. everywhere. and im not kidding at all. if someone wants to marry multiple people they should be allowed to. for any reason.
before anybody tries to say some bullshit about this, extending the definition of marriage to include multiple people would give members of religions forced into abusive polygamy the same rights any divorcing spouse would have without putting them at risk for being charged with bigamy. this would make it easier for people to leave abusive plural marriages.
I'm feeling a bit of despair and sadness at my transition rn. I'm still read as female most days, my voice is not as low as I would want it and seems to have settled here, I have a fucked up asymmetrical chin patch and a rat moustache and no other facial hair two years on T, my body hair has stagnated, my top surgery scars are puckered and I'm dealing with prolonged swelling after multiple seromas and the parts of my chest that Have regained sensation are hypersensitive. My fat distribution still tends hipwards and any time i try to even minimally increase my T dose I get pimples. And I'm never going to be 2 cms taller and my hair is getting thinner for sure.
I've been coping by maintaining the general dissociative attitude to my chest that I had before top surgery but at least presurgery I still had nipple sensation. Now I'm lumpy and numb or painful. I know I just need to give it time and I trust my surgeons to do a good revision after the swelling has gone down but yea, this wasnt where I envisioned my body 2 years on T.
Anyway I dont see a lot of talking about dysphoria triggered specifically by top surgery - I don't regret surgery but I hate this ugly duckling phase. I hate not being in control of what's happening to my body. I hate that all I can do is wait.
Trans men having male privilege doesn't mean trans men dont experience transphobia. It doesn't mean we don't experience oppression at all.
it just means that we can leverage our position over trans women and get away with it. We can destroy their lives and face 0 repercussions. It means if it comes between a trans man's word and a trans woman's word, he is more likely to be believed.
If you're a feminist this should anger you and you should work to make sure that you're aware of this and never do it. If this makes you defensive, you're probably already doing it. Fix your heart.
i would like to shout out authors specifically of gay baseball romance novels because whenever i hear about whats on in baseball land im like thats just like in my gay baseball romance novel!!!!!

Every time Austin Walker says "we can't do this, we CANNOT do this! We HAVE to move on" in response to a weird side tangent one of his friends has initiated and then continues the side tangent with a comment he absolutely cannot hold inside of himself, a fairy gets its wings. đĽ°
The thing is nobody at pride is evaluating you to determine if youâre queer enough to be there because theyâre too busy thinking âitâs so hot outâ and âwhy is this lemonade 12 dollars?â
đ¸Emergency Funds for Lola's Apartment + Escapeđ¸
Hello everyone. Lola has found a new apartment for $115/week, which is a little over $16 USD a day (or $460/month). She's still searching for a job, but this makes it easier for her to spend time on getting to Germany.
We are asking for allies to donate so that she can finally start living a life of he own. Can anyone help by sharing or offering funds?

Transphobia is about to be signed into law in the UK. We can fight this.
I am begging the UK trans community and its allies to attend the Mass Lobby at Parliament on June 25th, 11am-4pm, organised by Trans Solidarity Alliance.
Last year we broke the record for an LGBT+ mass lobby of Parliament. Will you help us break it again? Join us on 25th June 2026 to demand be
The new EHRC Code of Practice pushes trans people out of toilets, hospital wards, and community spaces. It normalises gender policing based on appearance and stereotypes. It becomes statutory guidance in the UK by the end of June.
Trans people are now legally their assigned gender at birth and must join gendered spaces accordingly, but if they are perceived as their lived gender, they can also be ejected from those spaces. The guidance says: either break the law, or donât pass too well.
A mass lobby is where you invite your MP to discuss your concerns with you in-person. Ask your MP to:
Demand full parliamentary scrutiny, debate, and use their free vote on the EHRC Code of Practice.
Support any motions rejecting the EHRC guidance. As of June 4th, Labour MP Nadia Whittome has submitted a prayer motion - Early Day Motion 240.
Write to Bridget Phillipson, the Minister for Women and Equalities about our concerns
Your MP does not have to be an ally, they do not have to respond to your email for you to show up and greencard them (details below the cut.) What matters is that as many people as possible show up.
I cannot stress this enough: Showing up in person matters. It is much more effective than petitions, emails, and letters.
It is a horrible, stressful time, and I am so sorry if you're trans and live in the UK. But I was at last year's mass lobby and the line for greencarding alone stretched around the back gates. It was a record breaking mass lobby and made us impossible to ignore. Let's do even better this time. Details under the cut:
Worried about what to say?
Bring your personal worries about transphobia being signed into law, and trans friends being excluded from public spaces. You are a living person who deserves dignity. Remind your MP of that. You will also get guidance and brochures from Trans Solidarity Alliance that outlines our demands. This is mine from last year.
Money issues?
Trans Solidarity Alliance provides a travel bursary that you can sign up for via the link.
Got a refusal or no response from your MP?Â
Come anyway! You can request a same-day appointment with your MP through a process called greencarding. They will come and see you if theyâre already in Parliament. Even if they donât, theyâre made acutely aware of your cause because you showed up in person. This is my greencard from last year.
Here is the EHRC Code of Practice in full. It's a tough read, but some highlights are:
Organisations canât provide trans-inclusive, single-sex services, or they risk being sued for discrimination.
e.g. domestic violence support for women including trans women, menâs rugby group including trans men (12.68).
Trans people will have nowhere safe to pee.
If youâre a trans man, businesses can't allow you to pee in the men's, and you can also be ejected from womenâs bathrooms if youâre perceived as a man. Vice versa for trans women. EHRC suggests a âthird spaceâ bathroom, which is discriminatory and unworkable for most businesses. (13.130-133)
Sports organisations must exclude trans people from single-sex competitions (13.73).Â
A womenâs only sports competition must exclude trans women because of their biological advantage or face potential lawsuits (13.74), but a trans man who has undergone testosterone treatment can also be excluded based on fairness rules (13.81).
Trans women are stripped of the legal definition of âlesbianâ, and therefore no longer have legal protections if theyâre discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation. (2.50, 2.92).
Here is the Good Law Project's better explanation of the EHRC Code.
I have also made a PDF printout of QR codes for the government petition, email your MP tool, and mass lobby link to pass around your communities. DM me and I'll send it to you.

I unlocked a new gender at airport security (after flight cancellation, the fastest taxi ride to a different airport ive ever experienced, delay on that flight so i was at risk of missing my connection) called "I don't fucking care (es ist mir scheiĂegal) which of you pats me down, I have a plane to catch" which combined with being sweaty and frizzy haired and having resting anxious puppy face led to such a fearsome image that the man patted down my legs in the most perfunctory manner and said you're good.
