no matter how I felt about mickey because a dumbass reality show, she didn’t deserve this. this is absolutely tragic and my heart is broken for her family.

heart attack at 35 because of the flu is crazy, like it’s so shocking, but i think we all sometimes forget how delicate human bodies are. you can seem genuinely very healthy and then something as simple as the flu can quite literally kill you, because it’s never “just” the flu. poor mickey, and her family, and the bb27 cast, esp the ones that still weren’t on good terms with her. can’t imagine how they’re all feeling right now.

The news of Mickey’s passing really has me in shock because its still hard to believe that she was gone so soon after the season. It’s just incredibly sad but I hope she enjoyed living her dream summer. I really feel bad for her family, friends, and the cast 💔

Chelsie’s full statement about the controversy with her being on a anti-gay podcast wasn’t more than her trying to clean up image from looking like a homophobe. She didn’t even personally direct any of her “apology” towards Kimo who was discussed on that podcast to being sinful simply because he’s gay. I highly doubt she fundamentally believe it’s not a sin to be gay otherwise she wouldn’t be in those spaces in the first place. Masking your problematic beliefs with saying you love everybody because you’re a Christian isn’t fooling anyone because it’s transparent that she’s one of those “love the sinner hate the sun” or “ I love gays but just don’t agree with the lifestyle” kind of Christian and that’s not the kind of authentic love that gay people want or deserve. The criticism of her is very much valid.

for me, all chelsie needs to say is she does not believe being gay is a sin. which is not what she said in her statement.

i watched some of the podcast because. idk i like making myself mad. anyway one of them asked "are you the first believer who won big brother" and chelsie says "yeah, i actually do believe i might be the first believer who won this show." which is not true, dan immediately comes to mind (though it would not surprise me if the perrys were weird about catholics). and this to me does tie in with the homophobia of it. the way in which people like jackie hill perry practise their faith is very limited, there's only one way to be a christian, one way to follow the bible. in her mind, you cannot be queer and christian, you can't even go to a gay wedding. you cannot be affirming, and you will be praised for this veneer of love that excludes anyone who is not like you

i mean at a certain point you gotta realize chelsie is a master manipulator who feels no remorse about the lengths she will go to gaslight others and stop allowing her to talk her way out of being held accountable for the weird ass shit she says and does

i’m sorry chelsie but the “we can be friends even if i think you’re sinning” thing some christians feel about gay people is still degrading and offensive. i don’t want to be cool with you if you think a core part of my existence is wrong and that im going to hell because of it???
