"Normal's Overrated" Nothing But Jokes & Critique

A lot of us got into the show during its golden/post-classic era or even early modern era while we were between the ages of like 6-12 (i think 8 is the avg ik for me and some of y’all that’s true as well as the hgs).

We found the show during seasons where it wasn’t entirely sanitized, it was a family show but it remembered everyone in the house was grown adults. It was a reality tv show about grown ppl in a house and it felt so mysterious and interesting to watch them play and strategize week to week.

It wasn’t about the slime. It wasn’t about the competitions. And it certainly wasn’t about the advertisements.

They seem to think since so many of us got into the show as kids they must edit and advertise the show as though it’s a nickelodeon sitcom even though this was not the type of show we saw as kids.

It makes me sad how much BB struggles to have its own identity. It’s so ashamed of what it is and tries to be everything it isn’t.
