You ready for our 2026 Valentines?? The art is ready for ya 😍

This year's cards were designed by Philly artist April Finfrock. I'm completely obsessed with how these turned out.

I spent several minutes just staring at them (and trying to convince them to bite my fingers.) When my sister’s violin lesson ended, her teacher came out to the yard and explained that these goldfish were the same small creatures that were often unfortunately sold in plastic bags at state fairs. They were only about two inches long apiece, when she bought them and put them in the new, empty pond. In essence, they were like every goldfish I had seen before, but they had been given a much larger, much richer environment in which to flourish. As a result, they had grown into some of the most remarkable, vibrant creatures my twelve-year-old self had ever met with. All because of a pond. 

So I played the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition for the first time.

I am DEVASTATED.

The last time I cried this hard for a game was DA Veilguard, specifically for the Fade prison sequence. If you know, you know😭

So shoutout to BioWare, I guess, for making me feel genuine loss for characters I grew intensely attached to.

But truly though, what a fucking great experience. I probably won’t ever play again, and not because I didn’t enjoy every second of it, but because I need at least 13 years to recover from that.

I knew two spoilers going in (because be for real this game is over a decade old)
