I bought this cat bed seven years ago and none of my cats ever paid it any attention for the longest time.

I tried moving it to different places, from the floor to the cat tree to my bed to a table, and it stayed ignored. I thought about tossing it or giving it to a friend for their cats, but ultimately it remained in my room, unused and empty.

Roughly a month ago, after I'd cleared a ton of space off a section of my L-shaped desk, I decided to place the cat bed there. I didn't think it'd make a difference given how long it'd gone without use, but I figured it couldn't hurt to try it out. After all, it would be right next to where I sit, so if the cats did take a sudden interest, they'd be close enough that I could easily give them pets.

Within a day, Bruce Wayne (seen above) claimed the spot as his and he regularly sleeps in it every day now. Sometimes whenever he's not using it his sister, Mushroom Cheeseburger, will take a nap there. I don't know if the cat bed became such a preferred spot for sleeping due to how close it is to I space I frequently occupy or it's simply because of the weird, mercurial nature of cats in general.

Bruce Wayne is a sweet little angel boy. Super friendly and loving, but also clumsy and a bit of a goofball. My friends and I joke that he takes after Lego Batman more than any other iteration due to his silliness.
