Very many white LGBT people understand the idea that the societal concept that CisHet is the ‘standard’ or ‘default’ state of a human, at best, is a flattened look at the human experience, and worse a dangerous idea that leads to discrimination. Yet not very many of them seem to grasp the similar concept that thinking white people are the ‘default’ or ‘standard’ version of a person also leads to the same thing.

Allowing myself to be perfectly blunt, this post is about racism. Specifically about how y’all can analyze and identify bigotry under the lens of sexual orientation and gender identity; but CANNOT or WILL NOT hear the criticisms of race and racism in the same regard. Please don’t get it twisted.

more people could identify as asexual/aromantic if they not only knew what that label is but also knew about how wide the spectrum could be. because not every ace/aro person feels the same way and even people who DO have a general idea on what it means, could still be like "yeah no i cant be possibly ace/aro because i feel/do this and that"

Hello, Tumblr user. Here's a non-binary character who uses they/them. Their ASAB isn't relevant at all for the story and everyone regardless of relationship uses they/them for them and they're trans. Your challenge will be to not try to sniff out their ASAB. Go---- oh you're already telling other people who don't agree with you they're wrong and bigoted for hcing it different from you. Okay.

lot of people commenting on this post like "who eats lunch at 4pm that's a terrible time to eat lunch" yes. that is the point. 4pm lunch is inadvisable. 4pm lunch is not the ideal. 4pm lunch makes the mind demons real.

when we "lose" a cis butch woman because he becomes a trans man or masc you should actually say such things as yay, yippee, or hooray.

When we "Lose" a lesbian when she comes out as Bisexual you should probably say things such as "huzzah", or "i like your shoes, miss bi lady"

same thing happen to me when talk abt dogs & cats who get animal buttons that say words when press get more attention n aww n positivity vs communication disabled especially nonverbal nonspeaking disabled children n adults still without AAC & discouraged from access to AAC in every way

also the post that says people will gloss over it if you hate women but if you hate dogs they lose their minds and the notes are filled with people concerned about people hating dogs
