There’s distance in his gaze as he levels his counterpart. Discomfort sparks mildly at beach in proximity. Unabashed affections weren’t nothing new. Strong brews put some funny folk in odd places. Goodness knows he wasn’t a stranger to slurred confessions or clumsy hands. Came with the work. Didn’t always last, as the pushier sort tended to get shoved out not too later. He’d the courtesy of calling the monster’s partner, or relative if available, but wouldn’t let such a soul loiter in his own establishment.
……not that this ole place was his.
Slanted eyes fall from the lavender elemental’s libidinous stare. To another, the position of ‘favorite’ would serve as a compliment. Not to him. Words dripped too sweet. Space stolen by cocked smiles didn’t bode well. Yet, he doesn’t utter a word. Wouldn’t do much. Not right then. Fella had a point; he needed a job and the other was his boss. Instead, a soft sigh parts flames, a note of wariness slipping into the muted breath.
The elemental’s grin only widened. Gaining more smug the more seconds trickled by with silence and ultimately, with the quietest of sighs the other lets his exhaustion known. This was how he was going to deal with a bit of flattery? How disappointing. Boring. But his work was good, Fellby finally had some free time for himself as desired and he was finally able to visit a special someone in a part of the underground far from here whom he missed dearly.
Nothing could put him out of this good mood.
“What’s wrong? You don’t like me anymore?” He purrs in a husky voice that would make anyone melt. But this particular being was just as hot as he was and he k n e w it. “Doesn’t matter. You know you’re the only employee I need right?”
