He was a little confused about her comment, although realized that it was probably just a joke. Although, he didn’t get why she was being so modest about this whole situation. Basically carrying a stranger to your house. patching him up and letting him stay was a lot of things. Although, if she were in his shoes and vice-versa, he’d probably do the same.

He didn’t really mind the mess, he was a bit expecting it to sort of look like that. It was an extra room, after all. By the looks of it, she isn’t the type of person to have someone sleep over.

Allie had been raised to always do what’s right even if she was the only one doing it and this was one of those times where she had to the right thing. Even if it wasn’t exactly the smart thing to do. She wasn’t too trust of strangers but he needed help and by god she’d help him even if it killed her. For all she knew though it just might. She tried not to think about that though.

She was just glad she’d dusted the room earlier and vacummed it. so at least he wouldn’t be sleeping in dust. Most of the journals were full and she kind of hoped he didn’t read them.

“Gee, that’s saying something.”

She laughed a little at her joke.

Okay, they couldn’t help it. They had a few vines sprout up from the floor under the table, coiling around the legs and helping to support the poor thing. Maybe she wouldn’t notice the small change.

“Nah, I’m not.” Granted, they weren’t a monster, either, but they couldn’t tell her that. Not yet, anyways, they were still practically strangers. “Yeah, me and my lil’ sib stayed in Snowdin Inn for a long time, then we moved into New Home. It’s a lot warmer there. Though, I mean, in Snowdin I could just kinda leech off their warmth, they’ve got enough to go around.”

As she came back down to grab more books she didn’t seem to notice the new vines around the table. Though she did stop a moment and stare into space a moment before clapping her paws and going to another table.
