100 Words + the gentle sound of crackling fire. B)

the rare times he felt truly lazy, he thought, were ones like these. background chatter from all his pals filled the dimly lit pub at a comfortable volume. the best grub in snowdin was sitting in front of him, half-eaten, and his silent friend grillby manned the bar, wiping glasses dry. sans always sat at the bar so he could listen to the gentle, satisfying sizzles and pops grillbyâs flame produced. his favorite past-time was zoning out as he watched the light flicker, dancing off the walls.
the warmth of the fire seeps into his bones⊠heâs filled with comfort.

@flametendingbartender hurray for stressing out over KAREN. [ source. ]
Being a stickler for details, Virote never did well in slight bedlam. Especially when there were children in the area. He loved his little sister and would always attend a school function if needed ( seeing as how their parents were always busy, it wasn't like he had a choice. but, that was definitely another gripe for another time. ) But, there was something nerve inducing about having to work with actual parents. Must have been the gaps in age. It was painfully obvious that he wasn't taken seriously especially by Mrs. Karen, considering he was only in his early twenties.
He had been everywhere all at once. Making sure fairy lights were properly strung along the area, ensuring flowers were set well in their vases with painstaking care to his satisfaction, checking the small table of freebies, and occasionally seeing if Sanoh was-- WAIT. where was she, anyway? He could have sworn that she was just a couple of feet away. How did she slip off so fast? Ah, well. Did she really need him anxiously hovering over her shoulder?
Anxiety. Goodness. The mental capacity to be in such a public space wasn't in the cards.
How could something as simple as a bake sale drive him up the wall? He needed a break, and fast. Sanoh, bless her little heart, was probably having the time of her life with her posse of adorable, like-minded artists; while she was still very young, the girl was definitely the independent type. Now, he needed some downtime. But, where could he go?
Vi finally found a moment of reprieve when the general focus of the room shifted towards something someone dropped across the way. He inched further and further off from the hustle and bustle until he found himself standing beside a man made of... Fire? An actual being made of flames, taller than he could ever dream of being, and dressed to the absolute nines. Intimidating. He had seen him around, before. Didnât he own a restaurant? Vi could recall dropping by his establishment a couple of times with co-workers after long afternoons in the studio, but never struck up a conversation with the fellow.
But, it was never too late to do that... Right? Before uttering anything, Virote cleared his throat and managed a smile to mask the earlier pressure he was experiencing. âCrazy little event, am I right? I don't know about you, but, like, I could use a twenty hour nap after this.â Good start! There were still a couple of tasks to be done on his end, but those could wait for a few minutes. He'd be damned if Karen jumped on his ass for having a well deserved break.
flametendingbartender replied to your post: Oh, dear.
Abslutely! Steven King, in order to finish his first book within a three month time span, wrote 10 pages a day. Of course, weâve got work and family and friends that are dear outlets, but from that idea, you draw out a similar schedule? Something that is customized to you alone! You got this, pal. Believe in yourself and hone in on your success. Youâll find your groove. I know you will and best of luck!! If you ever need a proofreader, hmu. ;)
I will most certainly do!! And yeah, you know, thatâs not a bad idea. Set a schedule! Maybe that will make it seem less like Iâm trying to engulf an entire buffet at once, and rather just sampling tiny plates at a time. XDÂ

Depends on the circumstances! If heâs just sorta interested and thereâs nothing for him to lose in exploring the option, then Sans doesnât mind at all being the one to say âhey, me and you, letâs go grab some grub and hang out for a bit.âÂ
His âdatesâ often feel more like just a casual get together, honestly, but if youâre into that more laid back scene itâs really nice.Â
If there is anything to lose, however, such as a friendship or some potential trouble that could result, then heâll drag his feet. A lot. Heâll drag them for so damn long, no matter how much he might like that person, and sometimes wonât ever initiate. Better just to keep a good thing as it is; if it ainât broke, donât fix it, right?
In that instance, itâs better if heâs asked instead, because lord knows if heâll ever make it happen himself.

The Skeleton Brothers Inn
@flametendingbartender liked for a starter!
It was just for one night.Â
Or, wellâprobably, anyway. The power issue that had blackened out half of Snowdin wasnât an impossible fix, but from what Sans had heard, the inner city had been struck with outages too. Theyâd likely take precedence, considering there was a vast quantity more monsters and families living in the cramped area. It was entirely possible that his little town would be pushed back a day or more, so far off onto the edge of the Underground that it was sometimes a bit forgettable.
That stunk a little, but luckily everyone seemed pretty keen on working together to get through it. Those who had power took in those who didnât, and in Sans case, his place had been one of the lucky ones. âCourse, that left him and his brother responsible for taking in another monster or family for the time being, but they didnât really mind.Â
Wouldnât be the first time they had an extra roomie, after all.Â
All the monsters met at the librarby to decide who was going with who. When Grillby and his kid ended up being one of the families that needed a place to crash, everyone thought it only natural that theyâd stay with the infamous Skeleton Brothers. Sans had called it a pretty good âmatchâ. Grillby had declined comment, but Sans liked to think that the flickers of his flames sounded a little more amused than usual.Â
âwelp, here we are. mi casa su casa.â He spouted the Surface phrase without thinking about it (and he really had to be more careful, he thought, but then in the same mental breath decided it hardly made any sort of difference) and gestured to the second story of his home. âPaps is gettinâ his room all set for you and the kid, grillz. figured you two could bunk there for now. sound good?âÂ
flametendingbartender replied to your post:
*i dunno, man. on wednesdayâs we wear pink.Â
* He gives you a single, solid (and is that a vaguely baffled?) thumbs up. *
Sans returns the sentiment.Â

It was technically Sans birthday. He grinned at the perfect cake then up to the fire monster.Â
âheh, nice. thanks buddy. you grill this up just for me?âÂ
Though, naturally, Sans would still be by for breakfast at Grillbyâs as well.Â
And brunch.Â
And lunch.Â
And dinner, too, probably.Â
