I hope the human race lives long enough to meet non-terrestial life that reproduces via massive external egg fertilization, like salmon or something, and the first time they learn about human reproduction they barf from disgust.

They don't even know about the 9 month gestation period yet.

They convert nine months to their local equivalent and pass out. Then they find out fhat humans take years to be able to walk and talk and function individually. Cut to them sobbing, begging and crying to change their major from xenobiology to media studies.

Worst moments in human xenobiology reproductive history. Learning that in fact humans normally only make one new human, not a litter of about four as originally thought. Learning reproduction literally involves tearing apart the birthing parent, who somehow survives, and apparently does this kind of thing at least twice, most times, or more. First human born in xenobiologic care was nearly discarded as wasre material.

The fact that humans normally only make one baby at a time should have became known when the request to change majors to media studies was granted on the condition that the students in question put their background in xenobiology to use by introducing human media at one of their intercultural seminars. Unfortunately, for several academic terms, only having 1 baby survive birthing was interpreted as part of the hyperbolic tragedy/drama of many human movies and shows. This error was not corrected until the birthing parent in the above scenario had an ultrasound and was briefly terrified when the staff member, looking at the hologram of the single infant hovering over the parent's belly, clicked apologetically in condolences.

Yeah man, this wizard sleepover is cozy. I just saw a guy gently clap his hands together and say "hot beverage conjuration" or something, and suddenly everyone was holding a perfect mug of their favorite warm drink in their hands. Nobody who was already sleeping even woke up, that's how cozy it is. I'm over here casting pillow and level 2 pyjamas. I think I just heard "power word: blanket fort" two groups over. I gotta get in there.

Character who's a third wheel, but in the same way that a tricycle has three wheels. You technically might be able to remove him, but it's going to be a lot less stable and a lot more likely to result in someone's death if you do.
