I think a lot of people don't realize how shameless and opportunistic a truly lazy, entitled man can be. like the amount of work that can be put into avoiding washing dishes might sound crazy so that you believe no one would do that, but they're banking on you being sane like that. you think "what's one dish to wash" and he thinks "I will kill myself before I wash a dish." I know. I know! he could just wash the dish and not kill himself, but he would rather kill himself than wash a dish so he can't be reasoned with. he'll fake an injury and do money laundering and pretend he's a puppy dog before he washes a dish. I know. surely not, you think. but yes. he will lie that he has bone cancer just so you wash dishes for him. he'll live in filth when you stop washing dishes just so you'll wash dishes for him. he will tell you his mom was an emotional abusive bitch and he has brain trauma because of it, and it's truly just because he'd rather kill himself than wash a dish. I know, I know...it's just one pot. It's just one pot! why kill yourself? I don't know!! but he'd rather kill himself than wash a dish, so he's gotta do all this work not to wash a dish. but kief, that can't be. it is. I'm sorry. I disagree with that post that was like “tumblr was worse when the demographic was straighter” because I think tumblr’s demographic is still exactly as straight as it has always been, it’s just that now all the straight people are pretending to be gay and calling themselves he/they puppyboys and she/it transbian catgirls and that kinda shit. And I think tumblr’s demographic has actually gotten more homophobic than it used to be because the fake gays feel threatened by real homosexuals so they need to shut us up so they can keep pretending that they are gay. I watched the Manosphere documentary on Netflix. And all the guys talked about "One Way Monogamy"- where they get to sleep around, but their partner is loyal. And it's funny that Lindy West, ultra-left-wing liberal feminist, is living the exact same lifestyle where she's loyal to her husband while he does whatever he wants sexually. She's just calling it a different name. And that's all you need to know about how powerful patriarchy is. It's adapted to fit into any ideology/politic/worldview. Anyone trying to convince you that something is liberal/left-wing/queer/rad so it can't be patriarchal is an agent.
