The Hannibal fandom is not only a creative and very talented one, it’s also one of the most prolific about creating AU pairings. We create new ships from almost any Mads Mikkelsen character of his movies with almost any Hugh Dancy character. The most obvious ones are the Spacedogs pairing and the Tristhad pairing, but these two are almost like a fandom on its own. The Rarepairs, however… The Rarepairs are another fandom entirely on their own. They can be viewed as Hannigram AUs, but ultimately, they’re an amazing universe of possible movies and characters being brought together and explored in many different ways, with endless combinations.

We also want to encourage you to explore all those pairings in Hannibal that aren’t as popular as Hannigram. All sexualities, all pairings, canon or not… They deserve love too!

This is why here in Hannibal Cre-Ate-Ive we’ve decided to organize the #EatTheRare fest to celebrate the love for all these Rarepairs.

Write/draw/create something with a Rarepair, either a Mads/Hugh minor ship (meaning no Spacedogs and Tristhad) or a Hannibal minor pairing, from September 11th-18th and post it in Tumblr, Twitter or anywhere with the tag. 

Also, since we have so many talented artists in the fandom, we decided to organize something different for this announcement, and so we asked on our twitter for artists who wanted to collaborate with us. We could only choose one among the amazing artists that approached us, and so the fantastic @camilleflyingrotten​ made this incredible fanart for the announcement.

Friends, Romans, Fannibals, would you like a tank top?

I ordered a couple of tanks from TeePublic with “male” sizing, which turns out to mean “really low-cut armpits.”  My #aesthetic does not include visible bras or layering, so I am looking to give these unworn beauties a good home via Fannibal giveaway.

Two tanks.  One is sage green, men’s size medium in kind of a thicker fabric, featuring @chetom ‘s gorgeous “Beautiful Domesticity,” featuring Will and Hannibal resting on the couch, mayhem-free, with bonus stripey socks:

The other is a purple men’s large pattered with the crest that tops the gate of Lecter Dvaras.  it says Large, but due to the soft/tissue-type fabric it’s actually a little smaller than the green medium.  Both, I think, would wear well for most sizes with varying degrees of Boyfriend Fit.  :P
