ABSOLUTELY LOSING IT AT THIS YEAR’S STAR WARS HOLIDAY CARD OBI-WAN, AHSOKA, YODA, AND ARTOO AT THE DOOR TO GREET VADER WHO BROUGHT A JELL-O MOLD WHILE DEX AND CODY ARE WORKING IN THE KITCHEN LIKE IT’S A CUTE CARD AND A SILLY FUN HOLIDAY THING BUT ALSO OH SHIT DISASTER LINEAGE FEELINGS THAT OBI-WAN AND AHSOKA AND YODA ARE WELCOMING ANAKIN THEY LITERALLY GO OUT TO GREET HIM WITH ARMS OPEN TO INVITE HIM IN AND ANAKIN BROUGHT FOOD FOR THE PARTY SOBS THEY WOULD HAVE ALWAYS WELCOMED HIM BACK THEY LOOK SO HAPPY TO SEE HIM JUST IMAGINE HOW MUCH IT MEANS TO THEM THAT THEIR ANAKIN CAME BACK AND BROUGHT A SILLY FOOD THING WITH HIM THAT THEIR ANAKIN ISN’T TOTALLY GONE HE COULD ALWAYS COME BACK TO THEM BECAUSE THEY LOVED HIM AND THEN HE DID COME BACK FOR THE HOLIDAYS AND IT’S A SILLY STAR WARS HOLIDAY CARD BUT MY FEELINGS ABOUT THE DISASTER LINEAGE BEING REUNITED IN SUCH A JOYOUS WAY ARE GOING TO MAKE ME CRY REAL TEARS HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME, STAR WARS, HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME, ANAKIN

goddamn right.  Always my favorite boys, always ripping my fucking heart out and stitching it back together.  Every single fucking thing about this is golden, and I will never forget seeing it for the first time on my now husband’s old couch and sobbing my fucking eyes out, and he had absolutely no idea of the depth of history and feeling I have for these characters, but he didn’t make light of how much it hurt, he just comforted me, and that became part of all this, too.  It was such an enormous green flag- you can be upset about the things that you love.  You can care as deeply as you want, and he is never going to tell you it’s too much.

it was over in 30 seconds or less but I got to hear that 'hullo' in person and shake his hand and look right into his eyes and thank him for everything and he was so friendly and attentive and you can see by the expression on my face that I never thought this could possibly happen to me :D James looked like he'd slept in that shirt and hadn't combed his hair ever and it was perfect <3
