Whumpee, who doesn't even resist since they don't remember the last time they ate. Even with all this food around Whumpee, no one tried to offer them any.

Pull at their hair. Even better if they are bruised up and standing up hurts. "ah, wait, no, ah!" as you pull them up and drag them along without mercy. To ease the pain at their scalp they have to push themselves to comply and feel the pain in their legs/back/chest/wherever.

Grab their upper arm, hard enough to bruise, and roughly guide them wherever you want them to go.

When whumpee is hiding under a bed or laying on the ground, grab them by their ankles and pull them away. They will desperately try to grasp at anything with their hands, but it's no use.

History whump. Tie their hands together and tie the end of the rope to the back of your cart. Comfortably ride your horse as whumpee is forced to walk along in the sun. Don't give them water. Let them almost collapse from exhaustion. If they fall and trip the cart will pull them along and their wrists will be bleeding.

Wrestle them down, tie their hands behind their back, blindfold them, and force them to walk with you, tripping and disoriented. Maybe you can let them fall on their face a time or two.

Forcefully carry them with you between two people. Let them struggle and fight, but it's no use. They are not strong enough.

Threaten them with a gun. Make them come "willingly". Make sure they know that if they don't do what you tell them, they are dead. Whumpee complies with slow and careful movements, not wanting to, but also knowing they have no choice.

Throw them tied up in the back of your truck. They try so hard not to hyperventilate, but the claustrophobia is making them panic. Every turn and bump is throwing them around. It is dark and hot. They try to follow the road, but quickly become completely disoriented.

Put a shock collar around them and zap them if they don't do what you say.

whumpee knows that people are noticing. how could they not? whumpee is exhausted and it’s getting worse. they dread going to sleep at night, and they avoid it as much as they can. they know that every night is going to bring a new violation, a new round of horrifying, painful abuse. even when they do sleep, they don’t get any rest. they’re getting irritable, jumpy, they’re fraying to the point that they don’t know how much longer they can keep going before they’re going to break.

and every day they look at their friends, the people around them, and they want so badly to say something. they want to tell someone what’s being done to them, but the thought of what they would actually say makes them choke on shame and fear. what would they say? nothing is even happening, nothing real. how are they supposed to whine and cry about abuse that doesn’t exist? they can feel hands on them but their body was never touched. every night they’re raped, brutally and violently, and every morning they wake up to phantom pain in a body without a mark on it.

main whumpee is a captive, on constant watch, gets all of whumper's attention. they're a whumpee 24/7. a long-term whumpee. whumper's favorite.

but whumper has other whumpees, too. ones that are under whumper's control but have more freedom. blackmailed whumpees. short term whumpees. or maybe a villain whumper whos other whumpees are their underlings, who are even whumperees, forced to watch as whumper hurts main whumpee, or even forced to participate. whumper has a line they won't cross with main whumpee. they don't want to break their favorite toy, after all. they're irreplaceable.

but those lines don't exist with the other whumpees.

Sure, they were hurt. Horrifically, even. There's no denying the scars. But the things they describe? There's just no way someone could do such horrific things to a person, and there's no way a person could walk away from that. There must be embellishments, hyperbole, some misremembering.

They're wary. They're careful. They can practically feel the other shoe dropping. Nothing happens. It's not normal. They can't be calm when Caretaker is in the room.

Eventually, Caretaker has to mirror an action that Whumper used to do. Maybe Whumper always used to make Whumpee bathe with them: Whumpee runs a horrible fever and can't get up on their own.

Caretaker is running the bath while Whumpee lingers in the back of the room, perfectly still.

"You don't have to get fully undressed if you don't want to," Caretaker says, "But take off what you can. We need to make sure nothing gets infected while you're sick."

When they turn back around, they find Whumpee already knelt on the tile, facing the wall. Their back, hatchmarked and wounded, exposed under the yellowish lights.

There's a pause.

"...Whumpee?"

“she was going to medical school, just finishing up her undergrad, how many days did you have left?”

“…17” whumpee would reply, clenching her jaw, looking away, unable to hide her disdain for him

Whumper tells them to run until their legs give out and they have to do it.

Whumper tells them to jump in a freezing lake and they're already in before Whumper can finish, shuddering and sobbing as they try to resist against their own flesh

Whumper getting tired of whumpee's sobs and telling them to shut up. they cant make noise, so their chest heaves and their mouth opens and closes but nothing comes out.

Although the whumpee wants to obey, after last night's abuse the words take a little longer to form. Whumper turns off the car's headlights so that ahead of them is only darkness.

"Say it."

The car speeds up. There is only a metre or less of visibility up front.

"(whumper), please-"

Whumper clenches their teeth, "I won't let anyone else have you."

"I love you," whumpee finally chokes out, flinching at every bend of the road. The car is going far over the speed limit. If anyone else rolled up ahead, they wouldn't see it in time.

"You aren't being genuine now."

"Please, slow down," whumpee raises their voice as much as they dare, "I mean it. I really do."

The hands on the wheel tighten as the car swerves around yet another perilous bend.

"(whumper), I love you," whumpee says over and over like a prayer. They don't, not really, but they are ready to say anything to not end up a mess of broken limbs when the car eventually crashes. They know whumper would do it, too - that was the worst part.

Finally, whumper glances over at whumpee, just for a second. Their face softens.

"I love you too."

The car begins to slow down gradually, gently, until finally they are at a speed that lets whumpee relax ever so slightly. Now, whumper can afford to look at whumpee longer. They shoot whumpee a fond look.

A loving one.

"Thank you," whumpee stammers out. Now, they have to do anything to stop whumper from snapping again. It was a thin treshold easily crossed.
