Trying to have a romantic moment with Caretaker but all Whumpee can feel is Whumper’s hands all over them.

Newly rescued, delirious Whumpee trying to give Caretaker “favors” because they think they’ll be punished if they don’t.

Whumper who tells Whumpee how beautiful they look when they scream for help.

Caretaker who expects to find Whumpee in a dark cell, probably unwashed and starving, but instead finds them perfectly cared for, dressed in lingerie, and chained up near Whumper’s bed.

Whumpee who is kept on a leash at Whumper’s side at all times for easy access.

Whumpee who isn’t compliant enough so Whumper has them drugged until that’s no longer a problem.

Whumpee who doesn’t want Caretaker to know what Whumper did to them, so they never tell Caretaker what their rope burns are actually from.

Whumper who gets Whumpee intoxicated and convinces them that they actually wanted this and Whumper was doing them a favor by allowing them to have it.

"It doesn't matter how old you are. Abuse is not your fault."

"It's over. It's not happening now."

"What are you feeling? Can you talk to me right now?"

"Whatever you're remembering, whatever you think I'm trying to do... Please, I'm not like them."

"You couldn't have stopped them."

"Sure. It was wrong. But that doesn't justify what they did to you!"

"Please! Talk to me! Don't just sit there staring at the wall like he's right there!"

"Of course you did as you were told. You're smart. You picked the way that wouldn't get you hurt. There's nothing shameful about that."

"Of course you lashed out at whumper! Anyone would've been furious in your situation! That doesn't make you to blame for what they did as a result."

"Where does it hurt?"

Caretaker finally rescuing and/or getting access to whumpee only to realize there’s no saving them, so instead they try to make them comfortable: giving them pain killers, wiping the blood out of their eyes, holding them, rocking and singing to them, etc. 

Caretaker having to give them permission to let go; “It’s okay, you can go now”, “I know it hurts, you can stop fighting it”

If Whumpee was always too good, to sweet, to innocent, for this world anyway

If they were the only thing holding back Caretaker and their wrath; Whumper has no idea what they’ve unleashed 

Somebody/something that Caretaker or Whumper can’t see comes to take Whumpee (bonus points if the story is split POV, both Whumpee’s and the other characters)

Whumpee who hasn’t had experienced peace or happiness in a long time healing in the afterlife, possibly with friends, family, or team members who have gone before them

If deceased Whumpee becomes some sort of protector of Caretaker in the afterlife or gets revenge on Whumper

caretaker is devastated, but they push that feeling aside. this isn't about them. whumpee is about to— they can't even bring themself to think of it. but they rock whumpee back and forth, doing their best to relieve whumpee of their pain. gentle, they are so gentle as they soothe whumpee— who barely knew an ounce of kindness in their life. at least caretaker can treat them the way they deserve to be treated on their deathbed. they whisper sweet nothings, they beg death to be kind to whumpee. they hope it won't hurt.

oh... whumper has no idea. are they stupid, caretaker wonders as they place whumpee's unmoving body on the floor. why did they think caretaker was holding back? now they've spelt their demise out in whumpee's blood marring their hands.

I like that idea... some third party steals whumpee away... maybe for a sacrifice? something that completely blindsides both whumper and caretaker. I do love myself some good old sacrifice <3

that's lovely, whumpee gets to heal afterwards, they get to see their deceased loved ones, they learn about their circumstances... so much potential... and they maybe don't pass on, out of choice, so they can aid caretaker, so they can take revenge on whumper.

or maybe they take revenge, completely unhinged— no one came to save them in life, and no one bothered finding out what happened to them even after they died. all they have is their rage and their grief and they can't move on— so they use it as fuel against whumper, finally enacting their long due revenge.

Intimate whispers into wide-eyed whumpee's ear as their back is pressed against the wall

Feeling whumper growing hard against their rear when they come up behind them. All whumpee was doing was washing the dishes, and now, this.

"Please, please stop. He needs a break—just needs a minute, please."

oh my god that’s such a mind game. especially if whumpee overhears them stop when someone says they’re not into it, or they change their mind partway through. whumper’s parter for the night says no and they listen. they’re perfectly respectful and kind about it. and whumpee feels- feels insane.

lots of internal monologue and even dialogue with oneself

social awkwardness

despite longing for connection, avoiding it because they are not used to it

or: seeking connection anywhere they can, even in the tiny interactions with employees and strangers

making their home a very comforting space since they spend so much time in it

not feeling invited to activities unless explicitly told they are, and even then doubting it

not even considering the possibility of talking to someone

feeling warmth in their chest after a good talk with someone, only for it to twist into dread and doubt later on

Whumpee, so mentally broken and having physically given up so completely that they are numb to anything happening to or around them. They see and hear and feel nothing.

Not whumper.

Not whumper’s continued torture.

Not even caretaker who’d only just rushed in, ready to fight for whumpee, hoping and praying that whumpee hadn’t yet perished, only to see them doing little more than staring up at nothing, eyes dull and unseeing, with their head rolled back, barely reacting more than the involuntary flinches of their body’s nervous system and not because the feel anything happening to them. Looking more dead than caretaker ever thought a still living being could be.

Dazed. Unresponsive. Gone.

And make sure a friend or loved one sees how broken they’ve become.

i'm ALSO a sucker for an interrupted sexual assault, i really, really love those scenes.

and the visuals are just... they're SO striking. especially if this is a really inappropriate time/place for any kind of sexual activity to be taking place. at work, visiting someone else's house, a public place of some kind. in hospital. there's so much to think about if it takes some particular work to figure out that what's happening is nonconsensual but there's something really compelling i think also when it's like. it is BLATANTLY an interrupted sexual assault. whumpee is pinned down. being held down. they're crying, or fighting, or hyperventilating. every inch of their body is recoiling, cringing, trembling, very obviously hating this, wanting it desperately to stop.
