Truly I don't even know what to say anymore. This blog has genuinely become such a key part of my life. I love Whistlebreeze, I love drawing the (mis)adventures of this little blue cat and faer loved ones. Redrawing day one of this blog always feels especially important as a way to show how much I've improved in the now five and a half years I've been running this blog day in day out. I have grown alongside Whistlebreeze in many ways. I moved out, started university, met amazing people irl and here online, grew more confident and now finally have a will to live and dreams for my future.

Creating this world has been such a wonderful experience too. I have been able to put so much energy in making characters and stories I care about deeply and sharing them with all of you! The occasional wrench thrown my way by the books only helped to make this world more expansive and detailed

and as you know, this could have never happened without all of you following this blog. Your kind comments, ideas and assistance for the Whisversaries is truly the only reason I am still able and inspired to continue this blog. 2000 days of drawing, of fun and of joy. Genuinely, thank you to all of you for helping me make this blog a reality

2000 days is a lot, but trust me, this is far from the end. I still have many aspects of the Whisverse I want to expand upon and stories to share with you. Warrior Cats isn't done and I sure as fuck am not done either!

controversial stance but i do wish i could live forever. i certainly live like i'm going to live forever. i take my time. realistically however my lifespan is dreadfully limited and there are things i've "been meaning to do" that i will never get around to. the Emoji Movie came out almost 10 years ago. in all that time on any random day i could've decided to sit down and watch it, and i did not. how many more decades will slip by like this? conceivably, it could be all the decades i have left. watching the Emoji Movie would not be, after all, a crucial use of my time. much better things to do. i could easily postpone it over and over and over until my final breath where it may not even register to me that i never did watch the Emoji Movie. no great loss, certainly; and yet i find myself intrigued by Patrick Stewart's involvement
