I hate the common perception post ep 9 that leeroys egg hasn’t cracked yet, I think the episode is very intentional in attempting to show us that it has, but she’s still not comfortable with the information being shared, she’s got a dysphoria hoodie and a long/medium feminine-androgynous haircut, she covers her face in most photos, she’s put her pronouns as Lee/roy on insta (mostly funny but also I think important), she frequents her local gay bar run by a nonbinary lesbian, and most importantly, she HAS come out previously, to her mum, all pre-circus Jax moments we know are also leeroy moments, meaning she’s already aware of her gender identity, and has had a healthier and less scary journey to acceptance than Jax, I truely think leeroy is boymodding in public because she’s still got a fear of coming out and being exposed, but Is transitioning and working on coming out
