Billy can’t help it. He blurts out, without tact, “What are you even doing here?”

And Steve’s mouth twists, like words are trying to escape, but he doesn’t answer right away. His eyes are big and wide with surprise, like he hadn’t expected Billy to actually speak to him - much less ask that question.

Remus: Kissing?

I think Mike and Levi did eventually grow to respect each other despite their rocky start in ACWNR. They certainly appear to work well together in the Female Titan arc, there's no sign of animosity between them. I think the fact that Erwin trusted and respected Mike and vice versa would eventually have been enough to convince Levi that he was a solid dude.

Believe it or not I've never actually watched Junior High. I really need to fix that! I am very familiar with this adorable scene though 🥰 And I absolutely love post ACWNR fics that explore Mike and Levi's cautiously developing relationship.
